I have never understood the fascination that my younger brother Scott and my brother-in-law Craig have with hats or "lids", but it appears the gene has been tranferred to my nephews as well.
I started this mini album over a year ago because the pictures it contains are some of my favorites and I absolutely love the other supplies that were used ... Tinkering Ink paper, Hambly overlays, and Seven Gypsies Zany stickers.
So, another project completed ... yeah!
Well I had the best of intentions to leave the house today, but it just didn't happen. I ended up being in the studio most of the day as I continued to pick up my mess from the latest mini album as well as began sorting through all of the incomplete projects that I have in the studio. Man, I never realized how many that I had!
So, a new goal is to complete some of these projects before beginning any new projects. With that said, here is a card that I completed this evening that has been on my desk for the last couple of months because I ran out of steam one night and just couldn't get it done ... then it got put under other projects and I just unearthed it this evening. So, one project completed ... yeah!

Okay ... sorry that I have been slacking lately on posting the Rhode Island album, but I have been busy planning my trip to Italy. Getting hotels, reading travel blogs for advice and talking to my Mom every day about suitcases, train tickets, etc. I am ready to go on my vacation so that I can quit planning ... do you know what I mean??
Tomorrow I am purchasing a Garmin 1390T for the trip and it will go home with my Mom at the end of our journey. I own a Garmin 765T and I absolutely love it ... wouldn't take a trip without it! But the new Garmin products have an enhanced pedestrian navigation option which gives transportation options, etc. for most major cities in US and Europe. If you are a traveler that likes to enjoy the sites and not have their nose in a map ... check this unit out!
I also recently purchasing another "toy" for the trip ... but I will let you know about it tomorrow!

Here are the first couple of pages from my Rhode Island Girls' Trip. I had a blast making this album and it feels so good to finally finish it ... one more thing off my to do list ... YEAH!
I will post the entire album over the course of the next few days as it is 20+ pages. I hope that you will be inspired by the album because I definitely drew inspiration for it from such talented ladies as Sande Krieger and Paula Cheney.
Most of the supplies used in the album are from 7 Gypsies and stamps are from 7 Gypsies and Hero Arts. I have had some of them for a while and have loved gathering up more for this album ... enjoy!
