Tonight I made a card to send to Mom along with a CD of the pictures that I took in Rhode Island. Hopefully, she will enjoy both of them!!

Well, I just got back on Sunday from a weekend away with some of my favorite girlfriends - Mary Jon (my sister), Shalene (my sister-in-law) and Judy (my Mom). We headed out East to Newport, Rhode Island to visit the "cottages" and to do a little bit of shopping. While the weather wasn't stellar for our trip, the sites and shopping were pretty amazing. I am working on editing my pictures for a crop that Cheri is going to be having at her house this Saturday, so I will post pictures and possibly the mini album that I plan to complete for the trip early next week.
By the way, I am still loving my Kindle2 unit. I have traveled with it the last three weeks and have read 4 books in that time period. I am a little ticked that I finally order it only to see that a new larger size Kindle will be coming out later this year. Oh well, I can always upgrade and give my Kindle to my sister as a Christmas present.
Well, here is quick card that I will be sending off to my fabulous sister-in-law just to let her know how much I enjoyed spending the weekend with her and looking forward to seeing her, Scott and the girls in July.
